Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust has been recognised for its outstanding dedication to supporting its workforce at the 2023 Employee Benefits Awards.

The Trust won the ‘Best Public Sector Benefits’ award and was highly commended in the ‘Best Voluntary Benefits’ category, in a joint award nomination for the Trust’s Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service and Employee Benefits.

The Employee Benefits Awards celebrate excellence in HR, rewards and benefits across both private and public sector organisations, with winning organisations recognised for their commitment to providing exceptional benefits and support to their employees.

Arlene Wills, Head of Employee Benefits at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, said: “We are thrilled with our success at the Employee Benefits Awards.

“At Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, we are committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that acknowledges their hard work and dedication. We are proud to have been recognised for our efforts and will continue to strive to provide the best possible benefits to our employees.”

Tracy Scott, Associate Director of Occupational Health and Workforce Wellbeing, said: “It’s an honour to have been successful in one category and highly commended in another.

“Our awards success really is a testament to our Trust’s dedication to supporting our workforce of over 9,000 members of staff. With the ongoing challenges facing the NHS, we aim to continue providing the very best Occupational Health service to our colleagues at Mid Yorkshire.”

The winners were announced at an official awards ceremony on 23 June at The HAC (Honourable Artillery Company), London.
