'Peri-operative' means the time before, during and just after your surgery.

At Mid Yorkshire we want you to be as informed as possible prior to your operation or procedure taking place. Therefore, we have outlined the pre-assessment and preparation for the peri-operative journey that our patients undergo, together with all the necessary information at each stage of this journey. This is to make sure our patients and their family, friends and carers have what they need to be as prepared as they can be.
