The Oncology helpline is answered by experienced Oncology Nurses at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT).

Please call the above helpline if you are concerned about side-effects of treatment you are experiencing or are concerned about any symptoms from your cancer.

Our experienced colleagues at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust will triage your concerns and then help direct you to the most appropriate service. This may be either within the Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust Hospitals, or if necessary, at a Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust hospital. 

The Oncology Nurse will provide you with expert advice and will hand over any concerns to Mid Yorkshire staff. Should you require a face-to-face assessment, the nurse answering your call will decide on the best place for that to take place.
