Chaplaincy
Our Chapliancy Service provides pastoral, spiritual, and religious care.
Chaplaincy
At Mid Yorkshire we understand that spiritual and emotional well-being is an essential part of holistic care. Our dedicated team of Trust chaplains are here to provide compassionate pastoral support to patients, staff, and their loved ones.
Our trust chaplains are committed to respecting individual beliefs and preferences. When you reach out, the first step is to offer empathetic support and assistance.
At Mid Yorkshire we have have a team of seven Chaplains. Who will ask if there is a particular faith leader or spiritual advisor you’d like them to contact on your behalf for ongoing care and guidance.
If you don’t have a specific contact, the team can connect you with faith leaders from our local communities who align with your beliefs. Alternatively, our chaplains can collaborate with chaplains from neighboring Trusts to arrange a visit from someone of the same faith tradition to ensure you receive meaningful, personalised support.
