We offer a Urogynaecology service across all 3 sites.
Pontefract Urogynaecology department is located on level D in gynaecology outpatients. It has:
- three clinic rooms
- a urodynamics suite
- own toilet for teaching clean intermittent self-catheterisation
- consultant led and specialist nurse led clinics are run from this department
- nurse led pessary clinic
- Trial Without Catheter (TWOC) and Clean Intermittent Self-Catheterisation Training Clinic (CISC)
- Bladder instillation appointments
- a dedicated waiting area with drinks machine
Dewsbury Urogynaecology department is located on level 1 in the Bronte Tower building. It is within gynaecology outpatients and is a shared area with antenatal clinic. It has:
- four clinic rooms
- a urodynamics suite
- consultant and specialist nurse clinics are run from this department
- nurse led pessary clinic
- trial without catheter (TWOC) and clean intermittent self catheterisation (CISC) training clinic
- bladder instillation clinic
- a shared waiting area
Pinderfields Urogynaecology department is based on Gate 8B. It is within gynaecology outpatients and is a shared area with general outpatients. It has:
- four clinic rooms
- a treatment room for outpatient cystoscopy (diagnostic and intravesical Botox treatment)
- consultant and specialist nurse clinics run from this department
- nurse led pessary clinic
- trial without catheter (TWOC) and clean intermittent self catheterisation (CISC) training clinic
- bladder instillations
- a shared waiting area
We currently have a team of two consultant urogynaecologists and a clinical nurse specialist who work across all sites to provide the best possible care.
