Trust receives Future-focused Finance Towards Excellence Accreditation
The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been awarded a level 2 accreditation by the National Finance Leadership Council (FLC).
The Future-focused Finance Towards Excellence Accreditation process is designed to allow the FLC to give due recognition to organisations that have the very best finance skills development culture and practices in place, as well as a culture where staff feel appreciated and successes are celebrated.
A level 2 accreditation, which lasts for three years, demonstrates a high level of performance and a trust-wide culture in place.
Amy Whitaker, Chief Finance Officer of the MYHT said;
“I am delighted the Trust has received this accreditation and our progress has been officially recognised. I would like to congratulate our finance team for this achievement and their ongoing hard work and commitment.
“This recognition showcases that our finance function has the best processes and skills development in place, in order to deliver a high-quality financial service. The team make a valuable contribution to the Trust.
We will continue to develop and aspire to achieve the level 3 accreditation.”
