The use of Meta Pixel on the Trust's website

It has been brought to our attention that the Trust, along with a number of other NHS organisations, has inadvertently been using a tracking tool on our website that can be used by Facebook's parent company Meta for its own business purposes.

The Trust can only apologise that Meta Pixel has been active on our website without the privacy notice being updated to reflect this. It was installed in Spring 2022 in order to assist with more effective advertising of job opportunities for those interested in careers in the NHS. Immediate action has been taken to disable the Meta Pixel on our website.
