Healthcare colleagues shine at the Nursing Awards winning prestigious accolade

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust wins ‘Best International Recruitment Experience’ at the Nursing Times Workforce Summit and Awards held on 21 November 2023. 

The awards, widely regarded as a pinnacle of recognition in the healthcare industry, celebrate excellence, innovation, and outstanding contributions to nursing and patient care.

HR and International Recruitment TeamThis award recognises the Trust’s International Recruitment Team for their supportive recruitment process of healthcare professionals from across the globe. The award highlights the Trust’s commitment to fostering a nurturing environment that empowers their workforce to deliver the highest quality of care. 

The international recruits starting their NHS journey at the Trust, receive a wealth of guidance from their very first welcome. Support is offered in the form of staff networks, accommodation recommendations, OSCE exam support, peer support and professional development opportunities once recruits have settled.
