Please tell us about how you got here?
I worked in the care industry for a few years. I made the decision to look for another job, but I knew I still wanted to help people as much as I could. It was just a matter of seeing the job advertisement and loving the description and knowing that I would still be able to help people.
How has your role developed since you started your career?
My role has developed as I have been given regular admin tasks and I feel I am trusted in helping the new starters with any advice and queries they have. I also get asked to help with the booking teams.
What are the best bits about your role?
I enjoy all parts of my role. My team is great, and we all get on well. Morale is great within the office, and we are all comfortable to ask for help from one another. I love helping patients with any queries and requests they may have. I like being able to do the other admin tasks also and learning more about other departments within Access, Booking and Choice.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to do a similar role/career?
Go for it. Best thing I ever did was come into an office environment within Access, Booking and Choice . Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
