Hello, my name is Mahmoud Eltawagny, and I am a Consultant in Emergency Medicine. I recently joined the esteemed Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust (MYTT) in January 2024, bringing with me nearly two decades of experience in emergency medicine.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in diverse healthcare settings across four different countries, each offering valuable insights into varying healthcare systems.
Originating from Egypt, I commenced my medical training there before gaining extensive experience in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar over a span of nine years. My journey led me to the United Kingdom in 2020, where I continue to pursue my passion for emergency medicine.
My expertise particularly lies in the utilization of ultrasound technology within emergency care, as I strongly believe in its efficacy in facilitating procedures and examinations, thereby enhancing patient satisfaction and outcomes. As a consultant, I am committed to promoting its use and sharing my expertise with colleagues.
I find great satisfaction in my role at MYTT due to the exceptional support and encouragement provided by my colleagues within the Emergency Department. Additionally, I appreciate the ease and flexibility of collaborating with various multidisciplinary teams throughout the organization.
