MY Consultant: Dr Lalita Manghan
Hello, my name is Lalita and I recently joined the Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust as a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Breast Imaging.
I qualified as a doctor in India and did both my foundation and radiology training in West Yorkshire. After working as a consultant at another hospital, I recently transitioned to Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust. Having trained here previously, I knew it was a fantastic place to work. While changing jobs can be challenging, I found the transition smooth, thanks to the warm and welcoming Radiology Team, which helped me settle in quickly.
My colleagues in Breast Imaging, along with the wider Radiology Team, are truly exceptional, making MYTT a wonderful place to work. I work less than full-time and have a very flexible job plan that allows me to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
