Biography: 

Mr. Holmes qualified from Glasgow University in 2006 and did his general surgical training in Glasgow and Liverpool. He then completed a junior fellowship in plastic surgery at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa before completing his formal plastic surgery training in Yorkshire, UK. This was followed by a nationally awarded TIG fellowship in skin oncology at the Norfolk and Norwich Teaching Hospital and then two microsurgical breast reconstruction fellowships in Bristol and Chelmsford, UK. He was then awarded the BAPRAS/BAAPs fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery prior to taking up his current post as a consultant plastic surgeon. He joined the department at Mid Yorkshire in 2018.
