Biography:

Mr Anwar graduated in 1996 and then went on to successfully complete higher surgical training in general surgery. After obtaining his FRCS qualification in general surgery in Glasgow,  Mr Anwar progressed to specialist training in plastic surgery in Yorkshire. This was followed by a competitively awarded fellowship in hand, wrist and microvascular reconstruction at the Birmingham Hand Centre. He successfully completed a Diploma with the European Board of Hand Surgery in 2012. Mr Anwar was appointed as a consultant plastic surgeon with a specialist interest in hands and burns in 2010.
